Below you will find all the benefits and unique features of staking with Pasta Pool.

We do not withhold any percentage from the rewards you have earned through staking. 100% of the ADA generated by the pool goes directly to our delegators with no cuts.

Let’s look at a quick example to understand how the Cardano staking reward system works.

Let's assume any Pool generates a total prize pool of 1000 ADA. The Cardano protocol automatically subtracts a fixed fee for this Pool's servers, the Min Pool Cost.

Therefore, the rewards for delegators are ALWAYS net of the Min Pool Cost, in this example 830 ADA. This is how Staking on Cardano works and it is not modifiable in any way by Pool Operators.

Suppose this Pool has a 5% Margin Fee and therefore retains 5% of the remaining ADA. Delegators are left with the reduced share after the Margin Fee, therefore only 95% of 830 ADA.

Example with 5% Margin fee:

In this case the Pool retains for itself 41,5 ADA and the rest is assigned automatically to the delegators by Cardano.

Example with 0% Margin fee:

As you can see above, Pasta Pool with 0% Margin Fee retains nothing for itself. 100% of the rewards go directly to our delegators. Considering the numbers of this example, instead of distributing 788,5 ADA Pasta Pool distributes 830 ADA.

As a small pool, Pasta Pool validates blocks less frequently than the network giants. This means that you will receive your ADA rewards less frequently, but they will be proportionally higher per block.

While in huge pools a block's reward is split and "diluted" among tens of thousands of wallets, on Pasta Pool the same reward is divided among a restricted circle of delegators. You receive ADA less often, but your slice is clearly larger. With a bit of patience, you will notice it yourself.

In the long run (over 6–12 months), these fluctuations automatically balance out thanks to the mathematics of Cardano’s Ouroboros protocol. Your average annual return will align perfectly with the network standards (3% – 5% APY), with the advantage of not suffering any deduction thanks to our 0% Margin Fee.
